Enjoy a fun twist on a classic Mexican favorite with the added spice of De La Viuda® Original Hot Sauce. The tartness of grapefruit paired with sweet agave nectar makes this a delicious cocktail that should be sipped to be savored.

  • 2 oz tequila
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ¼ oz simple syrup or agave nectar
  • 2 dashes De La Viuda® Original Hot Sauce
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz soda water or sparkling water
  • Course sea salt
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • Grapefruit wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Salt rim of glasses with course sea salt and set aside.
  2. Add tequila, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and De La Viuda® Original Hot Sauce to a shaker with ice.
  3. Shake well and strain into a glass over ice.
  4. Top off with grapefruit juice and splash of soda water. Garnish with grapefruit or lime wedge.
